( www.tasterental.co.uk ) in any capacity, or when you otherwise interact with us, such as
through email, or social media, and describes how we collect, store, use, and share it and
most importantly, keep it safe.
This policy only applies to your use of the website. It does not extend to the use of your
personal data by third parties, who are not processing your information on our behalf.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Identifying Data
Includes: Title, first and last name, date and place of birth, telephone number(s),
clothes, accessories and shoe sizings, unique identifiers (such as customer number),
photographs, official identity documents where relevant (passport and/or driving
licence), gender and personal characteristics, delivery and billing addresses, and email
address.
Derivative Data (Device information)
We automatically collect certain information about the device which you use to access
this website, such as the mobile device ID, model, manufacturer and information about

websites or search terms referred you to the site, and information about how you

Purchase history, payment information such as data related to your payment method
(e.g. valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) We store only very limited, if
any, financial information that we collect.
Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our third party payment processors
(Stripe, Apple Pay and Shopify), and we recommend that you review their privacy
policies.
(b) Behavioural and interactional information
Browsing history and behaviour via our website, interaction information from
engagement with our site and services such as search history, likes, clicks, shopping
cart information, rented products, emails sent and received to customer service.
(c) Aggregated data
Derived from your personal data, will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. for
example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users
accessing a specific website feature.
SPECIAL CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA
We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data).
Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.
AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING AND PROFILING

retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any
investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and/or comply with legal requirements.

TASTE may disclose your personal data:

it is legally require to do so in order to comply with applicable law or legal process.

violations of TASTE policies, suspected fraud or criminal activity.

financing or acquisition of a part of TASTE business to another company.

We work with certain third parties and only share the information they need to perform

credit/debit card details) so that we can collect payment from you and process your
order.

CRM tool providers, marketing agencies, booking platform suppliers, analytics

and TikTok), where they require the information to serve relevant ads about our products and services to you and others. This is based on either your marketing
consent or your acceptance of cookies on our Sites.
If you use a link to go from our Sites to another website, click on a third-party button (e.g.,
social media messaging sites, share tools, like buttons) or request a service from a third

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
TASTE may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own
but will take all reasonable steps to ensure it is protected.
5. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA
We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from
being accidentally lost, misused, or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered, or
disclosed. All your personal and financial data is encrypted and ‘https’ technology is used.
In addition, we limit access to your personal data to all employees and other third parties
who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our
instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We also ask that you do not
share your account details or password.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will
notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
DATA RETENTION
We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is required and reasonably
necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying
any regulatory, tax, accounting, or other legal requirements. By Law, we keep basic
information, contact, identity and financial data for 6 years after they cease being
customers for tax purposes.
MINORS
We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from children under the age of 18. By
using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If you become aware of
any data we have collected from someone under the age of 18, please contact us by

charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive, or
even refuse it in these circumstances.
We may ask for specific information from your to confirm your identity and your rights. This
is a safety measure to ensure your information is not disclosed to anyone who does not
have the right to receive it.
We aim to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. We shall notify you of
receipt and keep you updated on its progress.
RIGHT TO CORRECTION
You have the right to ask us to correct any personal data you think is incorrect, incomplete,
or out of date.
