You agree not to place an order unless sufficient funds are available to cover both the Replacement Value and the Rental Fees.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a rental order or terminate your access to the Services if any sums remain unpaid 7 Business Days after we notify you of the payment failure.
We are under no obligation to provide any part of the Services while outstanding sums remain unpaid.
This does not affect any other legal rights or remedies available to us.

1.4

If applicable Fees are not paid by the due date, we may initiate debt-collection procedures.
If these are unsuccessful, we will commence legal proceedings.
You agree to pay our Legal Fees incurred in retrieving the Product via the necessary legal steps.

If your rental is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at support@tasterental.co.uk.

3. PACKAGING

3.1

You must return your order in the same Branded Packaging in which it was received.
You may not keep any Branded Packaging (including boxes or dust bags).
If necessary, you may use your own mailing bag for the return.

RETURNS

4. RETURNS POLICY

Please keep proof of postage until we confirm receipt of the item.

5. LATE RETURNS

5.1

If you do not post the Product by the cut-off time on the Rental End Date, we will not receive it by the Rental Due Date, and it will be classed as a late return.
You therefore authorise us or our third-party payment processor to charge your Payment Method any accumulated Late Fees.

5.2

If we do not receive the Product by the Rental Due Date, you will receive a notification.
If you provide proof within 2 Business Days that you posted the rental on the Rental End Date before the cut-off time, no Late Fee will be charged, and it will be deemed a courier delay.

5.3

Late Fees accumulate for a maximum of 7 Business Days, beginning on the first Business Day after the 2-Business-Day grace period, unless we receive a response or proof from you.

5.4

If you fail to post the rental within 7 Business Days of notification, it will be classed as a Non-Return.
We may, at our sole discretion, charge you the full Replacement Value in addition to the Rental Fee if we are satisfied that the Product will not be returned, in accordance with the Non-Payment terms (Section 13).

6. AUTHENTICITY

6.1

Each Product is documented (via video or photo evidence) every time it enters or leaves our business to track its condition and authenticity.

6.2

If you return a counterfeit Product instead of the original Product we sent to you, this is considered theft and a criminal offence.
We will take the necessary steps outlined in Section 13 to recover the Product and monies from you, and will report the incident to the relevant authorities.

7. FIT POLICY

7.1

If your rental does not fit, you may receive a full refund of:

7.3

Any applicable refunds (Rental Fee, Damage Protection Fee, Security Deposit) will be issued to you within 3–5 Business Days of cancellation.

B. SELLING

1. SUBMITTING A QUOTE

1.1

Any user may submit a Quote by completing the Proposal Form. TASTE accepts quotes worldwide.

1.2

Counter-proposals made by TASTE or the Seller in any correspondence relating to an Offer or Quote do not constitute acceptance or an obligation to purchase.

1.3

We reserve the right to respond to and decline any Offer or Quote for any valid reason and at any time. If declined, the Offer or Quote will be Rejected.

1.4

If the Seller does not respond within 7 Business Days to any communication from TASTE, the Quote will be Rejected and the Seller must re-submit the Proposal Form to restart the process.

2. SENDING THE PRODUCT

2.1

Once TASTE and the Seller reach an Initial Agreement, the Seller must send the Product to TASTE for physical examination.

2.2

The Seller must be at least 18 years old and must provide proof of age and identity (valid passport or driver’s license) within 7 Business Days of the Initial Agreement.

2.3

The Seller must ship the Product to TASTE’s Registered Address within 7 Business Days of providing accepted identification, unless otherwise agreed at TASTE’s discretion.

2.4

The Initial Agreement will be void and the Quote Rejected if, within the Default or Agreed Time Limit, the Seller fails to:
(a) Provide proof of age and identity; or
(b) Ship the Product.

2.5

The Seller must ensure the Product arrives in the condition described and with all its parts.
TASTE is not liable for missing parts lost during transit.
If a Product arrives incomplete, it will be Failed (see Section 6).

2.6

TASTE will cover international shipment costs, subject to customs duties on entry to the UK.

2.7

Risk of loss remains with the Seller until the Product reaches TASTE.

2.8

If TASTE loses all or part of the Product during physical examination, we will compensate the Seller as per the Initial Agreement (minus shipping fees) within 3–5 Business Days.

3. AUTHENTICATION AND QUALITY CONTROL

3.1

The Product must pass an authenticity and quality control check in line with our Selection Criteria.

3.2

Authenticity is assessed by our in-house team. If necessary, the Product may be sent to an independent authenticator. This process may take several weeks.

3.3

We may transfer the Product or any related information (including photographs) to our authenticators if required.

3.4

If the Product is found to be counterfeit or its condition fails to meet the Selection Criteria, it will be classified as Failed, and the Seller will be notified.

(a) Counterfeit Products will be disposed of. Selling counterfeit goods is a criminal offence and will be reported to Trading Standards.
(b) If the Product is unsatisfactory, the Seller will have the option to have it returned (see Section 6).

4. FINAL AGREEMENT AND SALE

4.1

If the Product fulfils the Selection Criteria, it will be Passed.

4.2

TASTE will then make a formal offer to purchase.
If the Seller declines, both parties may negotiate with counter-offers until a Final Agreement is reached.
TASTE may propose amendments to the Initial Agreement following physical examination.

4.3

Once both parties explicitly agree to an Offer in writing, the Initial Agreement becomes void and a Final Agreement is formed.

4.4

TASTE will request valid bank account details from the Seller—this request also constitutes acceptance.
TASTE is not liable for funds sent to incorrect or invalid details provided by the Seller.

4.5

The sale is complete once the Seller receives the agreed funds (including shipping costs incurred) into their bank account.

4.6

The Seller guarantees the Product is free of liabilities (e.g., finance, theft). If liabilities later emerge, TASTE may pursue legal action.

4.7

TASTE may withdraw from the sale at any time for any valid reason, except after the funds have been transferred. In such cases, Section 6 applies.

5. REVERSING THE SALE

5.1

The Seller has a 2-day Grace Period (inclusive) from the date of the Final Agreement to change their mind.

5.2

A sale cannot be reversed if:
(a) The Seller agreed the sale is irreversible; or
(b) The Grace Period has passed; or
(c) The Seller has received the funds.

5.3

TASTE reserves the right to deem any sale irreversible.

5.4

The Seller is responsible for all return-related fees, including shipping and customs duties (see Section 6).

6. RETURNS

6.1

A Product will be Returned (and the Quote or Offer Rejected) if:
(a) The Seller withdraws before the Transfer of Funds;
(b) The Seller fails to respond within the Default or Agreed Time Limit;
(c) The Product arrives incomplete;
(d) The Product fails physical examination due to condition;
(e) No Final Agreement is formed.

6.2

If any of the above occur, the Seller will be notified and may choose to have the Product returned to their Registered Address (or another address they specify).
If the Seller does not respond within 7 Business Days, the Product will be disposed of.

6.3

The Seller is responsible for all return-related fees, including shipping and customs duties, except in scenarios 5.1(e) and 5.1(d) where TASTE covers the shipping fee only.

6.4

Risk of loss remains with the shipping carrier until the Product reaches the Seller.
TASTE is not liable if the Product is lost or delivered to the wrong address unless TASTE provided incorrect details.
